Vulnerable Patients

Ensuring that our most vulnerable patients have access to the right health care.

We aim to deliver safe, non-judgemental, accessible and equitable care to all of our patients. Vulnerable patients may be anyone at increased risk of poor health outcomes or harm because of their circumstances (social, clinical, legal, cognitive). These can include, but are not limited to:

– people experiencing homelessness

– people with a learning disability

– people living with dementia

– asylum seekers, refugees and other migrants

– people whose first language is not English

We make no restrictions on registering anyone as a patient. We aim to treat all patients equally and on the basis of need.
