Surgery Closures for Staff Training

The surgery will be closed during the Wednesday afternoons of 21st April, 19th May, 9th June, 14th July, 15th Sept, 20th Oct and the 24th Nov - phone lines will switch to the Out of Hours Service at 1.30pm and doors will close at 4pm.

Appointments

Our reception staff are available on weekdays for booking appointments and other routine business. Contact can be made by phone (01332 880 249) or in person at the reception desk during the following times:- 

Monday to Friday  8:00 am - 6:30 pm

If you need to be seen urgently you will be offered an appointment on the same day with the Triage nurse. There is also the opportunity to speak to a clinician over the telephone.

Most Doctors' appointments are available for booking on the previous working day so that patients can book an appointment the day before it is required.  About one third of appointments can be booked up to three weeks in advance.

Appointments with the nurses or the pharmacist can be booked in advance.

Appointments with the doctors are usually for 10 minutes.  If you need a longer appointment because, for example, you think you may require an intimate examination, or you have an especially complex or several problems, then please tell the receptionist.  There is no need to disclose the reason for the appointment to the receptionist.
